I have been fortunate enough to be born into music royalty. My father was a Grammy award winning Latin Jazz musician known all over the world. My childhood was filled with incredible experiences and colorful people. I was surrounded by famous musicians, entertainers and artists from all walks of life. Many would think that these would be the people that I would consistantly praise as influences in my life. While I do appreciate all of the things I learned from them and observed around them, there were others who also played significant roles in my life.

I feel that my life is a mosaic of pieces….some small, some large……that all weave together to draw the beautiful picture that is me. In this blog, I am highlighting the small pieces of my mosaic of life. These are significant people who have made great influences in my life. While their contributions to the formation of Audrey may seem small, I don’t hold them small because they are a part of the big picture that is Audrey.

My hope for this blog is twofold….. First, I would like the people that I write about to know the impact that they had on my life. Second, I hope to inspire everyone to take a closer look at their own lives and acknowledge the people that make up their mosaic picture.

All of the pieces matter.
